From opportunity to working product
01 · The challenge
The platform needed to make a flexible new format understandable: part marketplace, part creator tool, and part live group experience. It also had to support everything from solo challenges to shared sessions and location-based decks.
02 · The approach
8bit defined the deck as the product's central object, then designed a system around its full lifecycle—from discovery and purchase to creation, hosting, group play, and replay. Each surface stays focused while sharing one visual language.
03 · What shipped
A commerce-enabled web platform with a deck marketplace, product pages, personal libraries, creator workspaces, live sessions, QR joining, collector mechanics, and specialized card experiences such as maps.
Product scope
