The Local Site is the readable part of your Desktop Workspace. It lives inside the Local Folder, opens in a standard browser without web hosting, and presents the Workspace Information in readable pages. Changes happen by asking the AI Agent, which follows the Agent Instructions, including the relevant Skill or Workflow, and keeps the files and view in agreement.
The Workspace Wizard asks what you need to see, which pages would help, and how the Desktop Workspace should work. It creates a customized Markdown prompt that tells your AI Agent how to build the Local Site and connect it to the Workspace Information you review.

The Local Site lives on the computer holding the Local Folder, so phone access requires extra sharing or hosting setup.
What it does
Open the Local Site’s index.html page in your browser. Use familiar pages, navigation, lists, and details to understand the Workspace Information.
Ask the AI Agent to correct Workspace Information, update a page, or add another useful view. The AI Agent updates the files for you.
No hosting is required, and nothing is published automatically. You control the Local Folder and who can open it.

The Local Site can explain the information and instructions behind the work, show what happened during a completed task, and use a design shaped around how you want to work.
You have full control over how your Local Site looks and behaves. You do not need to settle for choices that do not fit the way you work, and you do not need to edit the website code yourself. Tell your AI Agent what you want changed, and it can update the site for you.
Do not like the colors, type, spacing, or page layout? Tell your AI Agent to change them and describe the style you prefer.
Do not like the order of the pages? Tell your AI Agent the order that makes sense to you. It can reorganize the menu and check every link.
Want clearer labels, different page sections, new views, simpler forms, or a better way to find information? Tell your AI Agent to change it. Keep making adjustments until the Local Site supports the way you actually work.

A Work Summary names the request, the files and Agent Instructions used, what changed, and what the AI Agent checked. Save each dated summary in the history folder so the Local Site’s Recent Activity page can read and present it.

How updates flow
The page does not refresh on its own, so reload it the way you would reload any page.
If a page is wrong, tell the AI Agent what needs correction. It should fix the Workspace Information, update the Local Site, and confirm that both agree.
What to ask the AI Agent to create
Start with a small set of connected pages, verify that they reflect the Workspace Information, and expand only when the next useful view becomes clear.
Ask for a home page, the pages needed for everyday use, a guide to the Workspace Information and Agent Instructions, and a Recent Activity page that reads dated work summaries from history.
Tell the AI Agent every page should come from the Workspace Information in the Local Folder and stay in agreement with it.
Have the AI Agent open every page, follow every link, check narrow browser windows, and make sure the information is clear.
Choose a few words such as calm, practical, friendly, or spacious. Ask for one consistent design.
